Draft Planning Obligations Supplementary Planning Document
The Council is updating and refreshing the Planning Obligations Supplementary Planning Document. This provides guidance on planning obligations and developer contributions for new development infrastructure and mitigation.
The consultation ran until 16 April 2026.

The Council has recently sought comments on this new Supplementary Planning Document on the approach to design. It will help deliver healthy, sustainable communities with high-quality homes that benefit all residents.
