One Horton Heath
One Horton Heath is a new development in the heart of Eastleigh Borough. Set across 310 acres, it features a mix of new homes, open spaces, commercial premises and sports and leisure facilities.
As landowner and developer, Eastleigh Borough Council is embarking on delivering a different approach to development, focusing on community, innovation and sustainability. We will bring together the best skills and innovation, creating jobs and opportunities for the local economy.
In June 2020 we started our first infrastructure road project, providing early access into the north and south of the site. In late Autumn 2020 we submitted a new masterplan planning application, setting out the long-term vision for the development. The new masterplan outline and first new homes plans were accepted by the local planning authority for consideration in January 2021.
In October 2021 the Horton Heath Development Management Committee approved principles of an outline planning permission for the One Horton Heath development.
