Your black household waste bin
Your black bin is collected fortnightly
We will collect your black household waste bin one week and your green recycling bin the following week. Due to the Coronavirus crisis, food waste collections that are normally collected each week with your black bin and green bin have been suspended.
Your black bin is for any household waste that can’t be recycled, so should not contain very much after you have removed your food waste and other recycling. Your black household waste bin must have its lid closed when ready for collection. Any bins where the lid does not close will not be able to be collected. Any waste left on the ground or on top of the bin, will also not be collected.
