This Girl Can Eastleigh is provided a range of activities and resources autumn 2022 to help those experiencing perimenopause or menopause symptoms to navigate and manage them.
Many joined the Menopause Warriors and brought their tribe with them!
- 90.3% would recommend a This Girl Can activity to a friend
- 74.2% have increased their activity levels since participating in the campaign
- 80.6% says the This Girl Can Eastleigh campaign has made them feel more confident about participating in physical activity

Activities
Free Walks & Talks
A gentle 2km walk and chat ending with refreshments outside. Benefit from the soothing effect of nature, get moving and talk your worries away.

Broadway dance fitness
Perform easy-to-follow routines set to a fantastic mix of classic and modern musicals from stage and screen. It’s one of those classes you can’t help but smile the whole way through (and even sing along if you like!) – it is much more than just jazz hands!

The Menopause Warriors discount code for Broadway Dance Fitness was used 30 times over the four-week period.

Low impact circuits
A fantastic workout that’s great for everyone, regardless of fitness level. It incorporates a variety of exercises at separate stations and you take part either individually or in small groups, taking on each exercise at your own pace for a specific time before moving onto the next station.

32 Warriors gave the class a go at the Deer Park School dance studio, managed by Wildern Leisure Centre.

The class has been a big success and the Leisure Centre will be officially continuing the class Tuesdays 6.30pm - 7.30pm £3.50 per session. Visit their site to book

This is a space for women to lift each other up and shine a light on the moments of joy that come with being active.
