Local recycling banks

Textiles can be recycled at local recycling banks across the Borough

Textiles can be recycled at local recycling banks across the Borough. Many recycling banks are at supermarkets or other places you visit regularly, so it’s easy to recycle.

However, if you notice a textile recycling bank is full and needs emptying then please call the telephone number on the bank to request it to be emptied.

Please do not leave items on the ground surrounding the banks as this will be classed as fly-tipping. If the banks are full, please take your items to another site.

Please visit Recycle Now to find your nearest local recycling banks.

Hampshire County Council’s Smart Living site lists places to take your unwanted items such as electronics, furniture and bric-a-brac.

Local Co-op stores allow you recycle 'soft plastics', such as plastic film lids on yoghurt pots, soft fruit punnets and ready meals, as well as plastic crisp packets, pasta bags and chocolate or biscuit wrappers.
