Our new constituencies for the Parliamentary Election 2024 explained
Do you know which constituency you are in?
Following a review by the Boundary Commission for England, there are new parliamentary constituency boundaries in Eastleigh, and residents in the Borough will vote in one of two constituencies below depending on where they live:
- The Eastleigh Constituency - covers the Bishopstoke, Chandlers Ford, Eastleigh, Fair Oak & Horton Heath, Hiltingbury and West End areas together with the Valley Park area of Test Valley Borough Council This will be administered by Eastleigh Borough Council.
For enquiries please contact our Elections team on 023 8068 8000 - The Hamble Valley Constituency - this is a new constituency that now includes the Botley, Bursledon & Hound North, Hamble & Netley, and Hedge End areas of the Borough. It also includes the Locks Heath, Park Gate, Sarisbury, Titchfield, Titchfield Common, Warsash, Whiteley & Shedfield areas and will be administered by Fareham Borough Council
Eastleigh Borough Council still holds all the personal election data for all residents in our Borough. So residents in Botley, Bursledon & Hound North, Hamble & Netley, and Hedge End areas will still need to contact Eastleigh Borough Council for any changes to their personal details such as a change of name, address, absent votes together with any applications for postal or proxy votes.
Eastleigh Borough residents in the Hamble Valley constituency should contact the Elections team at Fareham Borough Council on 01329 824588 or email [email protected] for issues such as non arrival of poll cards.

Why have constituency boundaries changed?
Constituency boundaries are reviewed periodically to make sure that constituencies are all roughly a similar size and respect local ties between areas. The reviews alter constituencies to reflect rising and falling populations and changes in the boundaries of the electoral wards that comprise them. The Boundary Commission published their final recommendations in June 2023, and the new boundaries they set out are being used at the 2024 UK general election.
