Christmas & New Year closure information and Waste & Recycling collections
The Council’s main Eastleigh House offices and customer services telephone lines will be closed from 5pm on Friday 22 December and will reopen at 8.30am on Thursday 28 December 2023.

Recycling
Information on what can be recycled
Garden Waste Collections are suspended after Friday 22 December and will resume on your usual recycling collection day from Monday 8 January 2024

Places Leisure Eastleigh
The centre will close at 8pm on Saturday 23 December and reopen at 8am on Tuesday 27 December. They will be open on New Year’s Eve 10am - 4pm and New Year’s Day 10am - 4pm. For more details of the festive opening times https://www.placesleisure.org/centres/places-leisure-eastleigh/
Itchen Valley and Lakeside Country Parks
Itchen Valley County Park will remain open to vehicles and pedestrians throughout the Christmas and New Year period. However, on Christmas Day and Boxing Day the café and toilets will be closed. For the rest of the festive period including New Year’s Day the park and facilities will be open. (Parking fees still apply throughout the festive period)
Lakeside Country Park will remain open to vehicles and pedestrians throughout the Christmas and New Year period. However, on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and 27 December the toilets will be closed. For the rest of the festive period the park and toilets will be open except New Year’s Day.
The Point, Eastleigh

Car parking enforcement
Civil enforcement officers will be patrolling over the festive period so please be aware of on-street parking restrictions (this includes bank holidays) and car park charges as detailed on car parks signs.
