Eastleigh is once again set to host its vibrant celebration of culture and community as the Eastleigh Mela returns on Sunday 26 July. Bringing together music, dance, food and family-friendly activities, the event promises a lively and inclusive day for visitors of all ages.
The main entertainment will take place on the Park Stage, where a dynamic lineup of performers is already confirmed. Audiences can look forward to electrifying tribute acts honouring the legendary sounds of legends including Elvis Presley and Bob Marley, guaranteed to get the crowd singing along.
Also performing on the Park Stage will be the band Kenwood and the Mixers, alongside popular singing duo Rekha and Parry. Renowned artist Bali Brahmbhatt will add to the musical diversity of the day with a special performance. Hosting the stage will be experienced MC Raj Ghai, keeping the programme running smoothly and the atmosphere buzzing.
In front of the Park Stage, the grassy area will feature additional cultural performances, including Jan Belly and representatives from the Chinese Association of Southampton, offering a rich showcase of community talent and traditions.
Mela is organised by the Eastleigh Asian Welfare & Cultural Association and Eastleigh Borough Council and Eastleigh Town Council.
