Christmas celebrations in Eastleigh Town are being launched on Saturday 15 November with a day of merriment, entertainment and activities – with a grand fireworks finale to end the day after we turn on our lights for the Christmas Season.
From 11am our 2 markets will bring you tempting trinkets and gifts to start your holiday season: The Makers Market is being held in The Point and our Christmas Market in the pedestrian area of Leigh Road.
You can also visit the community stalls and find out about the amazing community groups we have in our town.
Maybe take advantage of being the early birds and visit the Fun Fair which returns for another year, bringing family fun and thrills with our rides and activities. Or visit later in the day – it’s here until after the fireworks!
With Santa’s Grotto to visit in The Point, our street performers, Wells Place activities – the very popular climbing wall and many more, you can also come just to see the shop windows decorated for the Christmas season.
At 6pm, the Mayor, Cllr Janice Asman, will be accompanied by some friends you may have seen earlier in the day to light up the Town. Then it’s time for the Fireworks for the Grand Finale to end our day of celebration.
