Key proposals:
- 32 new homes, including:
- 16 one-bedroom apartments
- 16 two-bedroom apartments - Affordable homes for local people
- New landscaping and planting
- Improved walking and cycling connections
- High energy-efficiency standards
- Parking for residents and visitors to reduce on-street parking and minimise pressure on neighbouring streets
- At least a 10% Biodiversity Net Gain - a requirement to leave nature better than before and help local wildlife.
Better Connections for Walking and Cycling
Creating safe, green and direct walking routes to key local places is a project priority. Station Lane has very good walking, cycling and public transport links, however, opportunities to improve walking and cycling connections are being explored.
