Serenity, Hedge End

Full permission for the demolition of the existing farmhouse and associated former buildings, the creation of a new access onto Heath House Lane, and erection of 123 dwellings. 

The 2021 planning permission secured over £319k for nitrate mitigation, community infrastructure, public open space and play area works in the Local Area, the funding of the Solent Recreation Mitigation Partnership (SRMP) works, Public Art and health provision through a Section 106 agreement, in addition to 43 units of on-site affordable housing and off-site highway works. 

With over 65 flats and houses built to date, the affordable housing is now being occupied and improvements to the Norman Rodaway Play Area have been secured. Highways works include improvements at the Windhover roundabout and Pedestrian and cycle improvements in the area. Education funding at Kings Copse Primary School is also provided through Hampshire County Council.
