Taxi share services
A taxishare service is similar to a bus service, except that passengers will need to book in advance and the journey will be operated by a taxi instead of a bus. There are 3 taxishare services that operate in the Eastleigh area:

• Colden Common
• Stoke Common
• Valley Park

To use the service you must register by calling Hampshire County Council on 01962 846785 and book your seat by 4pm the day before you wish to travel. The service costs £1 per single journey.

Coach services

Megabus operate scheduled coach services from Southampton Airport to Oxford, Coventry, Birmingham airport, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Newcastle.

Megabus Service M34 calls at Southampton Airport Parkway.

Ferry services
The Hamble-Warsash ferry provides a service across the River Hamble for foot passengers and pedal bikes.  Operating hours are 9am to 6pm in summer and 9am to 4pm in winter.  There is no timetable or need to book in advance as the ferry  operates on demand. 

Up to 12 passengers can be carried at a time. Wheelchair passengers can be also carried as a ramp is available- please call in advance to arrange.
