Mental health
Solent Mind (including iTalk)
Provide support and wellbeing to anyone experiencing mental health problems in the southern region.
The Eastleigh Wellbeing Centre often organises groups and activities for young people – for up-to-date information, please contact the wellbeing centre directly.
Solent Mind also provides italk, a talking therapy service offering face to face, over the phone or online support in Hampshire. The free service is available to those over the age of 16, through GP or self-referral.
Papyrus
Papyrus offers confidential advice and support to any child or young person under the age of 35 struggling with thoughts of suicide, or anyone who is concerned about a young person through their telephone service HOPELINEUK.
Childline
Get help and advice from trained counsellors on a wide range of issues on the phone, online, via email, or on a message board.
Young Minds
Information and support pages for young people, including a dedicated helpline for those in crisis. Also host a parent helpline for parents and carers supporting young people.

Provide a 24/7 telephone service and an email support service in anyone in need.

Support service for any young person aged 8-18 who lives in the Eastleigh Borough, whose life is significantly affected by caring for a family member, like a parent or sibling, who has an illness, disability, mental health or substance misuse problem.

A county-wide specialist treatment service offering targeted, specialist, and family support for children and young people effected by substance misuse. Offer free and confidential advice and support for young people aged up to 25.

Money, life skills, homelessness and employment
Citizen’s Advice
Free, confidential advice online, in person or over the phone on issues such as debt, employment and housing.
Prince’s Trust
National organisation that supports young people aged 11-30 to gain life skills and gain training and employment.
National Citizen Service
A year-round government-backed programme for 15-17 year-olds that builds skills for work and life. The scheme supports young people to take on new challenges, make new friends and contribute to their community.
Hampshire Futures
Part of Hampshire County Council, the service provides support to Hampshire residents aged 16 to 18 who are currently not engaged in employment, education, or training.

Solent Youth Action
Solent Youth Action is a youth provision charity supporting vulnerable young people aged 10- 25. SYA empowers young people to develop as individuals, enjoy new challenges and make a positive contribution to the community through volunteering, social action and active citizenship.

Youth support charity running a range of prevention and targeted services for young people in the Eastleigh area including youth clubs, 1:1 and group sessions.
Chat Health
A confidential text messaging service that enables young people (aged 11-19) to contact their local school nursing team for health and wellbeing advice. This service operates Monday-Friday from 8.30am-4.30pm, just text 07507 332160 and the team aim to respond within 24 hours.
The Mix
Free counselling and support services for young people under 25 by phone, email or webchat. The Mix offers support on a range of issues including mental health, money, homelessness, finding a job, relationships and drugs.
No Limits
Free confidential information, advice, counselling and support to anyone under 26 in Southampton and Hampshire. No Limits can help with a wide range of issues including housing, homelessness, debt, employment, relationships, sexual health, mental health and substance misuse.

Eastleigh Youth Counselling Service
