Borough youth centres

Places for young people to relax, socialise and get support and outreach

Sessions delivered in partnership with Youth Options

Sessions are commissioned by the Council to provide outreach and in-house sessions across the Eastleigh town, Chandler's Ford and Fair Oak areas, with a separate outreach project in Bursledon, Hamble and Netley.

Energy Youth Centre

Free drop-in youth sessions for 11-18 year-olds run by Youth Options.

Open Tuesdays and Thursdays 6pm-8.30pm.

Facilities:

  • Two pool tables
  • Ping pong table
  • Televisions
  • Recording studio and music equipment
  • Craft materials e.g. glass paints, card making, fabric

Martial Arts at Energy

Martial Arts Energy Autumn 2023

We have teamed up with Youth Options and local club Aspire UMA Academy to provide Tuesday Martial Arts sessions at Energy Youth Centre for 11-18 year-olds.

It is a great chance for beginners to learn the importance of self defence techniques, develop confidence, and wellbeing.

Tasters: 12 September and 19 September, 6.30pm - 7.30pm

Structured sessions: Tuesdays, 10 to 31 October, 6.30pm - 7.30pm

There is no need to sign up in advance of the sessions, but there will be a short permission form that parents/guardians will need to complete before a young person can take part.


Fryern Pavilion - Chandler's Ford

The evening sessions are for young people aged 10 to 19 years (or up to the age of 24 for tailored 1:1 support) and are open access. They are themed around anything the young people want to talk about and have games and other activities available.

The sessions take place Thursdays, 6pm to 8.30pm.


YZone - Fair Oak

The evening sessions are for young people aged 10 to 19 years (or up to the age of 24 for tailored 1:1 support) and are open access. They are themed around anything the young people want to talk about and have games and other activities available.

The sessions take place on:

  • Winter: Mondays and Thursdays, 6pm to 8.30pm
  • Summer: Thursdays, 6pm to 8.30pm
