Learn more about what hate crime is and how to report it safely
A hate crime is when someone commits a crime against you because of your disability, gender identity, race, sexual orientation, religion, or any other perceived difference. More detailed information can be found on the Hampshire Police & Crime Commissioner site.
Third Party Reporting
Third Party Reporting Centres (TPRCs) overcome barriers by providing an alternative to directly reporting to the police, without which a number of hate incidents and crimes would never be reported or recorded. There are a number of these in the Borough as well as across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, find your nearest.
