Cheriton Road Play Area Rev F[3]

Work will soon get underway on the installation of a new play area at Ovington Gardens/York Road in Eastleigh.

Work will begin in week commencing Monday 13 September and is planned to be completed within a couple of weeks. So local children will soon be able to enjoy the new play area that provides a safe, fun and challenging experience for children up to 12 years of age.

The range of play equipment includes timber team trail, wall and net combo, crab and elephant see-saws, clamber stack, tiger spring and a disability accessible roundabout.

The play area also includes bonded rubber safety surfacing around and under each bit of equipment. It has been funded from financial contributions from the developers of nearby new housing schemes.
