Following the 7 May local elections, we welcomed two newly elected Councillors.

David Berry

David Berry (pictured left) is a newly elected Councillor for West End South ward, where he has lived for many years and raised his family.

As the current Chair of West End Parish Council, David has strong roots across the area and has built close ties within the local community.

He is committed to ensuring that everyone has appropriate access to all Council services. David works in higher education with responsibility for housing management, resident wellbeing and community living, giving him extensive experience in supporting diverse communities and working collaboratively.

Dave Walker

Representing Chandler’s Ford ward, Dave Walker (pictured right) was born and raised in Hiltingbury East and is proud to still call it home. He attended Scantabout and Thornden Schools, the same schools as his children. With elderly parents also living in the ward, Dave sees the issues that matter to residents at every stage of life.

Protecting green spaces, improving local services and facilities for young people, and ensuring the community's voice is heard on local matters are all important to him. Dave is also a Councillor on Chandler's Ford Parish Council.
