We Are Undefeatable Eastleigh wants to know your experience
Share your experiences of keeping active while managing a long-term condition
The Borough Council’s Sport and Health team is looking at how the pandemic has affected those with long-term conditions to inform localised measures to encourage physical activity to support and improve their health.
Funding, from COVID-19 Clinically Extremely Vulnerable Support Fund from Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government, has allowed us to set out a survey to residents with the aim of improving target provision. Those who were registered Clinically Extremely Vulnerable will be contacted directly, but we would like anyone who has a long-term health condition, so this will include the Clinically Vulnerable and others, to complete the survey.
We Are Undefeatable is a national multi-partner campaign to support people with a range of long-term health conditions. It aims to encourage finding ways to be active that work with each person’s conditions, not against them.
The Council has engaged locally with We Are Undefeatable Eastleigh by amplifying the national campaign and sharing stories from those who work and live in the Borough. Long-term conditions represented so far have been sarcoidosis, psoriatic arthritis and myalgic encephalomyelitis (ME).

The survey extended to Friday 1 October
