A FESTIVAL of fun is coming to Eastleigh to kick off summer as The Point and The Berry Theatre spill out of their venues to bring the annual and completely free, Unwrapped Festival.

With a firm family focus, Unwrapped Festival will showcase high quality, hand-picked live performances, in Netley, Eastleigh Town Centre and Hedge End, alongside have-a-go creative activities, an arts and craft market and food stalls.

The events take place at three locations:

Pop-Up Festival: Saturday 31 May 11am-2pm: Netley Abbey Cricket Ground, Netley

Main Festival: Saturday 7 June 10am-5pm: Leigh Road Recreation Ground, Eastleigh

Main Festival: Sunday 8 June 10am-5pm: Greta Park, Hedge End.

During this Saturday’s (31 May) event, at Netley Abbey Cricket Ground, festival goers can join in with Juggling Jake's circus skills as well as enjoying performances from Jellyfish Theatre's: The Dragon Wagon, The Fabularium: The Town Band of Bremen, a Silent Disco, face painting and much more. Expect interactive family performances full of joy, music and laughter.

The Main festival next Saturday (June 7) at Leigh Road Recreation Ground and Greta Park in Hedge End on Sunday (June 8), will include performances from Jellyfish Theatre, The Fabularium, LAStheatre, Chris the Juggler, Luke Brown Company and Point classes & companies. Expect an exciting array of theatre, fun and entertainment filled with engaging storytelling for families to make beautiful summer memories.

Squidge and Pop will be back with their brilliant bubble fun with immersive environments and music. You can also meet Luke Brown Company's, Daniel (Walk of the Dandelion), an 8ft, ethereal puppet who gently roams, sharing moments of joy and quiet reflection. Daniel, a symbol of resilience and hope, will be gifting dandelions- each with a message of positivity.

There’s also a chill out zone where festival goers can take time out from all the activities taking place on the day.
