Unauthorised encampment at Eastleigh's Fleming Park

The Council is aware of an unauthorised encampment at Fleming Park, Eastleigh. The caravans and other vehicles arrived yesterday.
As part of our normal procedure for dealing with unauthorised encampments Council officers are liaising with the police and have visited the park to request that the encampment vacates the site. We are continuing to monitor the situation.
The paddling pool has been closed as a safety precaution.
