The UK Parliamentary General Election takes place this Thursday 4 July. We have pulled together information for voters, including guidance on voting by proxy, support for disabled voters, what ID you need to be able to vote, as well as information for candidates and agents:

Support for disabled and clinically vulnerable voters
The voting process should be accessible to all voters and we offer a range of support for disabled and clinically vulnerable voters to enable them to vote independently, or with assistance. Read more
Postal votes
If you have a postal vote, please make sure you put it in the post as soon as possible to ensure that it arrives by 10pm on Thursday 4 July 2024.
You now need photo ID to vote at polling stations
People voting in person or by proxy at polling stations will now have to show photo identification.

New constituency boundaries
There are new constituency boundaries in Eastleigh and voters registered with Eastleigh Borough Council will now vote in one of the two constituencies below:

Eastleigh Constituency covering Bishopstoke, Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh, Fair Oak & Horton Heath, Hiltingbury, and West End.
Hamble Valley covering the Botley, Bursledon & Hound North, Hamble & Netley, and Hedge End areas which is administered by Fareham Borough Council
