Top-up to local business grant funds scheme
More businesses in the Borough may be eligible for a business grant
An additional fund has been set up to accommodate certain small businesses previously outside the scope of the business grant funds scheme.
The Business Secretary Alok Sharma and Minister for Regional Growth and Local Government, Simon Clarke has informed local authorities in England that up to £617 million would be made available.
This is an additional 5% uplift to the £12.33 billion funding previously announced for the Small Business Grants Fund (SBGF) and the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Grants Fund (RHLGF), so up to £617 million.
We are currently awaiting the official Treasury guidelines before we can determine which businesses are eligible for support, as soon as we receive further information we will publish the likely beneficiaries on our website and be in touch with those we have already identified.
You do not need to complete another form if you have already submitted one.
