The Council’s Waste and Recycling team have taken the fight against the coronavirus pandemic to the Borough’s roads. Two of the Council fleet’s bin lorries have been fitted with the Stay Alert messaging to remind residents to continue with the essential practice of handwashing to avoid infection.

The Council continue to looks for ways to help promote the Stay Alert message and the latest government guidance to residents. The easing of restrictions shouldn’t mean that the original core guidance of social distancing, self isolating and handwashing should be forgotten. Residents will see the lorries on bin rounds across the Borough. Printing and help with installation was provided by Roadvert Ltd.
