Tennis leagues inspired by Wimbledon set to be launched in Eastleigh
Beginners or more advanced players can join in the fun.
Inspired by Wimbledon, local tennis leagues supported by Barclays Bank are set to launch across Eastleigh on 28 August (closing date 25 August).
It is a singles-based competition co-ordinated by the LTA (Lawn Tennis Association) that presents an opportunity to play against other people of a similar level on local courts.
Whatever your level – beginner or advanced – you can meet new people, improve your game and compete in a friendly way at a court near here with Barclays Local Tennis Leagues.
These leagues are taking place at local parks, publicly accessible courts and clubs across the UK all year round for adults over the age of 18, and this is an opportunity for you to get involved also.
If you have never competed before, no problem – we'll help you find a tennis opponent using your ITF World Tennis Number, so you play opponents at the right standard for you.
