Statement: duplication of car parking payments
The Council’s car parking payment provider, Planet Payment, has in error taken a duplicate payment for some car parking charges that were paid for in April at Itchen Valley Country Park, Mitchell Road Multi-Storey and Swan Centre car parks.
The error from Planet Payments occurred on 10 May and the Council can reassure all those affected that, all duplicate payments made by Planet Payments, are in the process of being refunded.
The Council can also reassure everyone that no payment card details have been retained by the Council.
