Spring into The Point's fab-u-lous new programme
Line-up includes comedy, cabaret, community events - and Craig!
Restore and revitalise by spending some of springtime at The Point.
2022 kicks off with dance and theatre treats including the acclaimed James Cousins Company with The Next Generation, including Hampshire Youth Dance Company’s premiere of a new piece, Folk Dance Remixed’s Hope, Sophie Ross’ new comedy musical Swings and Roundabouts, and Johnny Donahoe’s warm and uplifting Forgiveness.
For a great night out, socialise at the Stick of Rock Cabaret Club, presented in a traditional set-up, and join the fab-u-lous Craig Revel Horwood for his All Balls and Glitter Tour. Belly laugh at Omid Djalili and new monthly Comedy Networks, and eat, drink and compete at Board Game Café!
Enjoy the opportunity to be creative and social via classes, courses, clubs and events for all ages and experience levels. There are also a host of shows to enjoy from The Point’s community partners.
Councillor Tonia Craig, the Council’s Cabinet Member for Health and Social Policy, said: “Cultural activities are so important to wellbeing and it is great that, after such a difficult period, The Point has been able to pull together such a fantastic and varied programme that offers something for everyone – and features some big names.”
Charlotte Hall, Creative Director at the venue, said: “We’re so excited about our Spring season and all the opportunities for enjoyment it offers with top quality entertainment, big names and a brilliant mix of art-forms.
“Our teams continue to work hard to make visiting our buildings safe and welcoming, so there has never been a better time to make the most of the return of live performance.”
