Together We Make Eastleigh Festive has been designed to welcome residents and businesses alike into the town centre to enjoy some festive fun safely while shopping locally and supporting Eastleigh’s retailers and businesses.

An artisan Christmas craft and makers market, perfect for those last minute special hand-crafted gifts, will be in Wells Place and a section of the High Street on consecutive Saturdays from 5 to 19 December. Visitors will also find some pop-up surprises on 5 December – Small Business Saturday - and 12 December. From 9 December there will be festive window displays, designed by local artist Amy Harwood, for old and young alike to explore around the shops in the town centre.

Shake off winter chills with a hot drink and something to eat, savouring the atmosphere of these safe Christmas activities.

Chair of Eastleigh Local Area Committee Councillor Tina Campbell said: “The Eastleigh annual Christmas light switch-on is always so popular and is a wonderful community event. We were determined that residents still got the opportunity to get into the festive spirit in their town centre and at the same time support their local retailers safely. so Together We Make Eastleigh is designed to do just that – in a safe and enjoyable way”
