In line with Government guidelines to allow indoor gyms and leisure facilities to reopen following the Coronavirus pandemic, Places Leisure Eastleigh are preparing to reopen the centre on Monday 3 August.

Since the facilities closed on Government advice in March, the team at Places Leisure Eastleigh has been taking advice from Public Health England, following Government guidelines, and consulting with their trade body ukactive to ensure that they can safely re-open as soon as possible.

They are implementing lots of new measures to keep customers and staff safe. Changes will include lots of signage to ensure everyone respects social distancing, reduced activity capacities, enhanced cleaning regimes, and hand sanitizing and cleaning stations. Customers will also be asked to pre-book sessions on their Places Locker app or via their website; their handy new video about this will help customers prepare.

An extensive list of FAQ’s is also available on the Places Leisure website. The page also includes centre opening times, lists of activities that are available at the centre and details on how customers can book each activity.

Places Lesiure Eastleigh is operated by Places for People Leisure Ltd on behalf of Eastleigh Borough Council.
