Paddling pool open for scorching weekend
Visitors will see big improvements
The popular Fleming Park paddling pool is now open for what promises to be a scorching weekend – with some big improvements recently completed.
New artist-designed sunshades, picnic tables and benches will make the much-loved attraction near the centre of Eastleigh an even more enjoyable place to cool off.
If you do visit – remember to stay safe in the sun.
The pool was temporarily closed as a precaution earlier this week after an unauthorised encampment arrived on Tuesday. Eastleigh Borough Council, Places Leisure, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary and other partners are continuing to monitor the site closely to help ensure the paddling pool remains a safe and enjoyable facility for residents and visitors throughout the weekend.
