New Council Cabinet announced

Eastleigh Borough Council's new policy-making Cabinet has been announced following the recent local elections.

There are two key changes to the Cabinet, that is made up of seven Councillors, with the addition of Councillor Tim Groves, who represents Chandlers Ford ward, becomes the new portfolio lead for Transport following the retirement of David Airey.

Councillor Ian Corben who represents Hedge End North, and is the portfolio lead for Regeneration in the south of the Borough, becomes the Council’s new Deputy Leader.  

Council Leader Keith House said, “Tim is a great addition to the Cabinet and will bring a wealth of experience to his portfolio area.  We have a great team who will provide lots of ideas and enthusiasm to their Cabinet roles as the Council continues to protect its main services and deliver new community facilities.”
