Kfsher Play Area

A new play area located on the open space area on Le Marechal Avenue opposite Hollowbread Gardens on Kingfisher Park, Bursledon has opened and is already being enjoyed by local children ahead of the summer holidays.

The play area has been constructed of green/yellow coloured steel and is anticipated that it will be used by children up to 11 years of age.

The play area, includes two multi-unit play units, 2.4m climber, see-saw, swings, ladders and a roundabout.

Chair of Bursledon, Hamble & Hound Area Committee Cllr Tonia Craig, “We are delighted to invest in these new facilities for this area. This new play equipment will, for the first time, provide local children in the area to enjoy a range of play equipment in a safe environment which also encourages them to keep active.”

This play area was funded by the developer of the nearby housing as part of the community benefits outlined in the planning requirements as agreed by Eastleigh Borough Council.
