Kestrel Park play area opens

A new play area at Kestrel Park, Bursledon has been opened and is being enjoyed by local children ahead of the Easter bank holiday weekend. 

The play area has been constructed of treated wood and is anticipated that it will be used by children up to 14 years of age. 

There is a range of  exciting equipment including; 

  • Adventure Play Area - Climbing System Jungle Forest; Spring Mounted Rocker Beam; Climbing Station, Slide and Nest Swing
  • Ropes and Beams Trim Trail - Balancing Beam Course, Triple Spring Bouncing Disc, Sloping Monkey Bars, Low stepping posts, Stilts Course, Spiderweb Net, Balancing Snake, Wildlife Wheelspin

This play area was funded by the developer of the nearby housing as part of the community benefits outlined in the planning requirements as agreed by Eastleigh Borough Council.
