Ingleside Open Space – ‘New Outdoor Gym’ Equipment
We are proposing to create a new 'outdoor gym' at Ingleside Open space. To do this we intend to remove the existing basketball area located on the open space between Chillerton and Whitwell and replace this with the 'outdoor gym’.
This is being funded by developer's contributions and is part of the community benefits outlined in the planning requirements as agreed by Eastleigh Borough Council.
We are proposing to install the equipment before April 2023, it is anticipated that the outdoor gym will be used by people of all ages and is a great way to encourage people to become more active and help improve their health and well-being.
A range of equipment will be provided including:
- Parallel Bars
- Rower
- Arm/Pedal bike
- Health walker
The consultation has now closed, thanks to everyone who commented on the proposals. We will now consider all comments before we go ahead with the new play area.
