Improvements to Lakeside Play Area from Monday 4 August
Exciting new equipment is being installed to the western side
Following successful public consultations, exciting new play equipment is being installed to the western side of the Lakeside play area.
The new equipment includes a replacement basket swing and multi-play unit aimed at older children, as well as a zip line. This is in addition to the existing toddler swings, multi play unit, mound tunnel, see-saw and various other pieces of play equipment.
Work starts on Monday 4 August 2025 for a period of three to four weeks (weather dependent) and the work area will be fenced off, leaving the east side open as usual. Work will also take place on existing equipment, which will be fenced off in sections. Please bear with us while these works are carried out.
