In March 2018 Hampshire County Council (HCC) announced that they would take back the control of on street parking across the whole of Hampshire. The new agreement includes changes to permit charges across Hampshire with the introduction of minimum £50 charges for all residential permits.
However, Eastleigh Borough Council was able to negotiate transitional arrangements with HCC to reduce the initial impact for Eastleigh residents. The cost of your first parking permit until the end of March 2022 is currently £40 instead of £50 and £80 for the second.
