Free energy efficiency upgrades

Last year, the Warmer Homes consortium of 23 local authorities, including Eastleigh Borough Council, successfully secured funding through the Home Upgrade Grant of up to £41.4 million, a government scheme to improve energy efficiency of vulnerable and low-income households that do not have gas central heating.

Eligible households can apply to the scheme and receive free measures that could save hundreds of pounds per year, including insulation, air source heat pumps, and solar panels.

Apply now by visiting the Warmer Homes website www.warmerhomes.org.uk/apply or calling the freephone 0800 038 5737.

Fuel vouchers for low income households

Citizen's Advice Eastleigh provide cost-of-living advice, energy saving ideas and are offering fuel vouchers of up to £147 to Eastleigh residents in fuel poverty (who are paying out over ten per cent of their income on energy). Learn more or email [email protected]
