Hedge End, West End & Botley Community & Youth Grants scheme opens
Up to £500 for local groups
Charities, not-for-profit organisations and youth groups in the Hedge End, West End & Botley (HEWEB) local area can apply for grant funding as part of the HEWEB Community & Youth grant scheme that opens on Monday 16 September.
Grants up to a maximum of £500 are awarded for one-off projects, equipment and individual events. Grants are not intended for day-to-day costs (such as hall hire cost, or salaries).
Applications for grants must be received by 12 noon on Thursday 31 October. Once an application form has been submitted, the HEWEB Local Area Committee will consider all applications and will inform applicants of their decision.
Chair of the HEWEB Local Area Committee, Councillor Cynthia Garton said: “Charities, youth and community groups across the Hedge End, West End & Botley area do some fantastic work across a range of activities, which the Local Area Committee is delighted to support with this grant funding. If you run a local charity or community group in the HEWEB area, please don’t forget to apply!"
