Hamble Puffin

The Puffin crossing on Hamble Lane between Jurd Way and the Tesco access roundabout was completed in September providing a safer way for those residents of properties on the development to the west of Hamble Lane to cross this road.

Chair of Bursledon Hamble & Hound Local Area Committee Cllr Tonia Craig said, “It’s great that the new crossing has been completed to benefit new and existing residents getting from their new homes to other local facilities including schools on the east of Hamble Lane.  It’s also more convenient and safer for local residents and encourages more people to be more sustainable by walking or cycling.”

The crossing was installed as part of the community improvements from the developer of Kestrel Park.
