Hamble and Netley by election result
A Borough Council by election took place in the Hamble and Netley Ward on Thursday 6 March.
The seat was held for the Liberal Democrats by Prad Bains.
The election was triggered by the resignation from the Council of Liz Jarvis, who is now Member of Parliament for the Eastleigh constituency.
The political makeup of Eastleigh Borough Council is now:
Liberal Democrat – 35
Independent Group – 3
Conservative – 1
