Great Green Wardrobe set to come to Eastleigh
The display helps you chose how to buy clothes sustainably
Did you know that 711,000 tonnes of used textiles are discarded annually in the UK — that’s roughly 35 items per person per year?
From Monday 3 November to Friday 21 November, The Point in Eastleigh will be hosting The Great Green Wardrobe - an interactive display designed to inspire more sustainable fashion choices.
Whether it’s swapping, repairing, or shopping second-hand, the display highlights how small changes can help to keep clothes out of the bin, reduce environmental impact, and save money too.
The display was created by Hampshire County Council as part of their waste prevention initiative, Smart Living Come along to find out how you can get involved.
