Former Budgens supermarket site update
The next stage of work on the former Budgens supermarket site will start in week commencing 25 November to establish the site set up and to begin the internal strip out of the existing building. When complete the site set up will include a dedicated pedestrian walkway to provide safe separation between site vehicles and car park users. Public parking will continue to be available during the works.
The main demolition work is due to commence from 6 January and will include hoarding the site and protection to keep the existing bus stop on Wildern Lane in operation. Work is due to be completed by April 2020.
