Film about Polish refugees in Eastleigh Borough released
The film includes interviews with former residents of Hiltingbury Camp
A film has been made about life in the former Polish Dependent's Hostel Camp in Hiltingbury.
The camp housed Polish refugees following the end of the Second World War.
Using developer’s contributions and grants from Arts Council England and the Polish Cultural Institute, Eastleigh Borough Council was able to commission a film of interviews with local historians and residents of the camp exploring what life was like.
