Eastleigh Mela celebrates Borough’s cultures
Music, dance, entertainment and food this Sunday (23 July)
A celebration of Eastleigh Borough’s cultures will bring music, dance, entertainment and food from around the world to Eastleigh town centre later this month.
Eastleigh Mela takes place on Sunday 23 July, from 11am to 6pm in the Leigh Road Recreation Ground.
The free event features live entertainment and activities, with music and dance from Acoustic Jass, Navin Kundra, Forever Queen, Jazz Mattoo, The Henrys, Jan Belly, MC CoCo P. There’s also a climbing wall, martial arts (including Gatka) - and the Hampshire FA will be present.
Mela is organised by the Eastleigh Asian Welfare & Cultural Association – www.awca-eastleigh.org.uk, working with the Eastleigh Gurkha and Nepalese Association, Unity 101 radio and Eastleigh Borough Council.
