An Eastleigh Borough Council by-election was held for Eastleigh Central Ward on Thursday (10 February).
The results are as follows:
CONSTABLE, Josh - Labour and Co-operative Party 433 votes
DEDHIA, Bhavin - Liberal Democrat 802 votes Elected
FAWCETT, Clare Lorraine - Reform UK 64 votes
PAYNE, Simon - The Conservative Party Candidate 362 votes
STAPLETON, Jack - Green Party 140 votes
Turnout - 23.9% poll
The political make-up of Eastleigh Borough Council is now:
Liberal Democrat - 32
Conservative - 2
Independent Group - 5
