An appeal has been launched to make scrubs and other personal protective equipment (PPE) for NHS staff and other frontline workers.

The ScrubHub Eastleigh is a local sewing group whose volunteers make the PPE for our hospitals - and also for other emergency services, such as paramedics, police and care workers.

There are several ways to help - not just for experienced needleworkers. Volunteers who can sew will be asked to tackle easier patterns like hairbands and scrubs bags, to more advanced items like caps, scrubs and gowns.

You can volunteer or order scrubs via scrubssouthampton@gmail.com
or their Facebook Group - www.facebook.com/groups/scrubhubeastleigh.

You can also make a donation through Go Fund Me.
