Community tree planting at Knowle Park with One Horton Heath

A community volunteer morning at Knowle Park, Fair Oak, saw 400 native trees planted to support local wildlife and enhance green spaces.
Volunteers from Eastleigh Borough Council, One Horton Heath, Fair Oak Parish Council, eastbrooke homes and Wates, came together to plant a range of native species such as oak, silver birch, crab apple and rowan.
Native trees play an important role in supporting biodiversity, providing food and shelter for wildlife and helping create greener, more resilient places for the future.
