A community time capsule has been buried at the One Horton Heath development, created in partnership with One Horton Heath, local contractors, partners, and Fair Oak Infant School.
Ahead of the burial, members of the project team visited the school to run a session with pupils, giving them the opportunity to talk about the future and choose items that matter to them today. The children selected drawings, small toys and personal messages, creating a snapshot of everyday life for future residents to discover when the capsule is reopened in around 20 years’ time.
This special project gave local children the chance to play a part in the future of their community.
