Community Garden Project

Community Garden Project in Market Street/High Street

30 June 2021

Would you be interested in getting involved in the new community garden project that is taking place on the former ball games area between High Street and Market Street, south of Eastleigh Town Centre?

The games court is tucked away behind the Salvation Army building on Blenheim Road, it can be accessed via the alley next to the building and from the residents parking area on Grantham Road to the south.

The project will transform the games court into a community growing and garden space for the local community to enjoy and look after together.

We are looking for local volunteers to help transform this area by growing flowers and vegetables and encouraging wildlife to thrive in the area creating a pleasant green space for neighbours to meet.

If you would like to be involved in this project or have any ideas to make this garden a place for everyone to enjoy then please complete our survey online If you would prefer to just email us your ideas, please send them here CommunityGarden@eastleigh.gov.uk

There will also be an open day event at the site on Saturday 17 July from 2pm - 5pm.
