Following the initial landscaping works on this development we have been assessing designs for the new play area.

This play area is being funded by the developer and is part of the community benefits outlined in the planning requirements as agreed by Eastleigh Borough Council.

We intend to install the proposed design in the first half of 2022, it is anticipated that the play area will be used by children up to the ages of 10 years old.

Before we go ahead with the installation, we would welcome your comments and observations on the proposed design. The play area will be located on the open space area adjacent to Blundell Lane.

Its proposed to include the following equipment:

  • Multi Play Adventure Tower
  • Nest swing
  • Toddler Adventure Tower
  • See-saw
  • DDA roundabout
  • Cradle swing

Copies of the proposed designs can be seen below

We would welcome any comments you may wish to share with regard to the proposed play area by 2 January 2022.
