Residents across the Borough can watch the virtual meeting of the Council’s Cabinet on Thursday 21 May at 6:30pm. It will be chaired by Council Leader, Councillor Keith House.
The Coronavirus Act 2020 has temporarily removed the legal requirement for Councils to hold public meetings in person. The Cabinet meeting will therefore be streamed live allowing members of the public to watch it from the safety and comfort of their own homes.
Last month's Cabinet meeting was the first of its kind in Hampshire and ran successfully. All eight Cabinet Councillors were able to take part and vote without the need to attend the Council’s Eastleigh House offices.
